Application, booking and cancellation terms
Booking status
Applications and consultations are currently non-binding enquiries. Insurance arrangements for the retreat are not yet in place. The applicable requirements must be established and any required arrangements completed before a binding booking offer or payment request is issued. These terms do not state that the retreat is registered, insured or protected against insolvency.
Organiser and retreat
Portomeda LDA, NIF 518 490 971, Attn. Daniel Lundby Hilde, R. da Previdência 50, 8500-311 Portimão, Portugal, is the organiser. Contact: info@chronicpainreliefretreat.com. The advertised retreat is at Monte da Orada Retreat Centre, Nacional 120, Cx Postal 261-ST, 7630-678 S. Teotónio, Portugal, from 6 to 13 November 2026. The price is EUR 5,000 per person for seven days and seven nights, with a maximum of 10 confirmed participants.
Application and confirmation
Every applicant must complete a personal consultation with Hazem before a place can be offered. Neither an application nor a consultation guarantees acceptance. Once the requirements stated above are met, an accepted applicant receives a written offer with the final service details, these terms and the payment deadline. Before accepting, the applicant must receive the information required by applicable law. A place is confirmed only after acceptance of the written offer and receipt of full payment. An application does not itself accept a booking contract.
Services and price
The advertised price includes seven nights of accommodation, freshly prepared meals, up to five individual sessions with Hazem, scheduled yoga, meditation and coastal activities, swimming-pool and sauna access, airport or train station pick-up in the Algarve, and local transport during the retreat. Travel to and from Portugal is excluded unless confirmed separately. A return airport or station transfer is not included unless expressly confirmed in the written offer. Room arrangements, arrival and departure times, pick-up details, dietary and accessibility requirements must be settled before you accept. Any optional charge must be disclosed and agreed in advance.
Payment
Full payment is due after acceptance, by the deadline stated in the written offer. No payment is required before the mandatory consultation or before the booking prerequisites above have been met. Payment instructions will identify the organiser and amount due. If payment is not received by the deadline, the organiser will contact you before releasing the reserved place. No automatic late-payment penalty is established by these terms.
Free cancellation before the retreat
You may cancel without charge at any time before the retreat begins and receive a full refund of payments made to the organiser for the retreat. Send your cancellation to info@chronicpainreliefretreat.com with your name and booking reference. The organiser will acknowledge the request and issue the refund within 14 days of receiving it. The exact start time must be specified in your written offer. This contractual cancellation right is additional to any mandatory statutory rights. Independently booked travel and third-party services remain subject to their own terms.
Cancellation or material changes by the organiser
If the organiser cancels the retreat, all payments made to the organiser for it will be refunded in full within 14 days of cancellation. Other statutory rights remain unaffected. The daily timetable can be adjusted to individual needs, but this does not permit unrestricted changes to the dates, venue or essential services. If a material change is proposed before the start, you will be informed and may decline it and cancel for a full refund. No minimum-group cancellation condition is introduced by these terms.
Participation and interrupted stays
The retreat is non-medical; the health disclaimer applies. Participation depends on individual suitability. You may decline or stop any activity or session and should report pain or discomfort promptly. This is not a waiver of your legal rights. These terms do not impose an automatic forfeiture of all payments for a no-show or early departure. Any issue after the retreat has begun will be assessed under the agreed services and applicable law, including the reasons for interruption and any failure to provide the agreed services.
Complaints and mandatory rights
For concerns or complaints, contact info@chronicpainreliefretreat.com and include your booking reference where available. This does not restrict access to courts, supervisory authorities or applicable consumer-dispute procedures. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or traveller rights. If package-travel rules apply, the required information, protections and standard information form must be supplied before booking; these terms do not replace them.
